In comparison to the new shot below, here is a post from approximately three years ago featuring white daisies.  I think there is a huge improvement in my photos, and that’s so exciting to see!

It feels like years since it’s been here! While some parts of the country are dealing with drought conditions, the Midwest has experienced a very wet spring.  The wildflowers in my garden seem as desperate for the sunshine as the rest of us living creatures.

I try not to let the plants in my herb garden flower, but I let perennial herbs in my main garden flower for the bees and butterflies.  The chive flowers are probably my favorite, and check out how much more gorgeous they look with my new camera! Compare the new photo below to this post from […]

Before I started my 365 photoblog in 2012, I never noticed bull thistle, a giant purple thistle wildflower that is part of the sunflower family.  Now I see them all over, and think they are pretty cool. Here’s one that hasn’t yet burst open in purple spikes.
